MOAB
MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) is a training course which provides principles, techniques, and skills for recognizing, reducing, and managing violent and aggressive behavior. The program also provides humane and compassionate methods of dealing with aggressive people. Through our training program, we hope to empower people with necessary skills to avert conflict and injuries through various de-escalation techniques.
Persons who would benefit from these skills include corporations, law enforcement organizations, security, academic, healthcare, military, and federal agencies.
The goal of every public service professional is to find a way to diffuse the situation and avoid violence and/or injuries. When a physical altercation occurs, the only result will be possible injuries or lawsuits. In this class, you will be given a MOAB Introduction Student Manual and will learn about subjects such as:
Stages of conflict
Managing conflict
Personal space
Mental conditioning
